Greetings!

Please allow me to introduce myself: I am Bryan Canty, Director of the Etowah Valley Humane Society. In fact, the shelter has an all-new staff and we are striving to provide a friendly and accommodating atmosphere to both adopters and visitors. We have incorporated new policies and protocols to, not only streamline the adoption process, but to help the shelter operate more efficiently. As a result, we are seeing an increase in adoptions and rescues. If you have the opportunity, I invite you to come out, meet us, and observe for yourself.

Our Shelter has many great animals that deserve good, forever homes, and it is incumbent upon all of us to put forth our best efforts, but there are far too many that are euthanized each month.

It is my sincere desire to unite with local animal-affiliated businesses to raise community awareness of the plight of animals in Bartow County and hopefully, curtail the proliferation of unwanted animals by spaying and neutering. Our county has too many unwanted animals because of random indiscriminate breeding.

Though the outpouring of support from the Community has been overwhelming, we still need YOUR help. As you may be aware, we do not receive funding from any local, state or federal agency. We subsist solely on funds from adoptions, donations, and fundraising events.

We are looking for partnerships in several ways: memberships, services, sponsorships, and in-kind gifts. Please find it in your heart to assist us. The animals are counting on US! If you would like more information I will be happy to provide it. I thank you in advance for any and all support given. There are GREAT things happening at the Etowah Valley Humane Society. Come be a part!

Sincerely,

Bryan K. Canty
