EVHS Refund/Return Policy
The EVHS cannot guarantee the health of any animals from the Shelter. The EVHS believes the animals to be in good physical condition; however, not all animals being adopted have been examined or treated by a veterinarian and have possibly been exposed to infectious diseases. It is incumbent of the adopter to take the animal for its initial examination within five (5) days following the adoption. It is understood that under no circumstances shall the EVHS be obligated to pay bills, veterinarian expenses, or other expenses incurred by the adopter. In the event of a valid written veterinarian diagnosis within ten (10) days of the adoption, animals may be returned or replaced. The EVHS shall have the right to deny any exchange if the diagnosis is not confirmed by a licensed veterinarian or delay an exchange if the diagnosis is a contagious disease. The adopter has six (6) months to find a suitable replacement animal. In no event will a money refund be given. The return/replace privileges extend to medical reasons and in no event, may the animal be replaced for any other reason, except by the approval of the EVHS Director.

Donations, either monetary or in-kind, are non-refundable.
